Rochelle Phillips

Rochelle Phillips gained her Bachelor of Nursing degree from WINTEC in 2006 and has a post graduate certificate in advanced nursing.

Rochelle has worked at Middlemore Hospital, White Cross Medical Centre and spent two years working in a private gynaecology clinic in London, England.  

Rochelle is interested in women’s health, cardiovascular disease and is a Nurse Champion for diabetes and travel medicine.

"I like the huge variety of my job from vaccinating a baby to carrying out a travel medicine consultation, to performing a diabetic assessment. We have time to follow up with our patients and it's really good having the support of our team and management," says Rochelle.

Rochelle is very family oriented.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her son and watching movies.

Robyn Goldsworthy

Robyn is an administrator and behind the scenes person and has worked at Massey Medical since 2000. She sees to all the administrative tasks involved in running the medical centre. Robyn is available for our patients, whether it is for assistance with an account, general information, or any other problem you may have. Robyn comes from a Banking background, has lived in the UK & Australia and in her youth travelled extensively in Europe. She has two grown children and three grandsons & enjoys reading, patchwork and being creative.

Kia ora, My name is Rob Carr and I hail from the Hokianga in Northland. I have recently moved to the Bay from Whangarei with my partner and our 2 young children. I graduated from the University of Auckland in 2018 and am working towards my fellowship as a General Practitioner.

I am interested in all aspects of general practice and all ages and stages.

In my spare time, I am currently engaged in multiple toddler oriented activities. I am proficient with dinosaurs, the Wiggles, Paw Patrol, Lego and Moana. I am also an avid collector of music and houseplants.

Rhys Parry

Rhys was born but not raised in Hawke’s Bay but has been back for more than a decade now and at The Doctors Hastings since 2014. He is a GP, an urgent care doctor, and a clinical editor for HealthPathways. He has two kids who take up a fair amount of his time outside of work as does running the streets or hills of Hawke’s Bay.

Outside of work Adela loves getting outdoors, walking a dog, camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking and travelling (last big trip was to Nepalese Himalayas and India for few months).

After graduating in 2011 from the University of Auckland, Ranen trained at various hospitals across NZ; including 3 years in Orthopedics. He then moved to GP and Urgent care work.

His special interests include accident and emergency medicine, sports medicine & injuries and minor surgery.

Outside work, Ranen enjoys travel and sports, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts.

Working in Waikato, Whangarei, Hutt and Wellington hospitals was enriching and a fabulous opportunity to make friends. He is an accredited doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia (SCCA) and has advanced plus accreditation for the skin cancer service with the Western Bay of Plenty PHO.

Pip is our Matanga tapuhi Nurse Practitioner. Nurse Practitioners have the same authority as a Doctor, bringing the best of nursing and medicine together to support patients and whanau. She is an experienced Nurse Practitioner in both the acute / primary health settings here in New Zealand and overseas. She has a special interest in older people’s health and palliative care. Pip has lived on the Hibiscus Coast for many years with her husband and has 5 adult children and 6 grandchildren. She is a passionate gardener and enjoys tramping with her family.

Having trained through Auckland University in General Practice,  Phil has worked at the practice since doing a stint as a registrar in 1993, which means he has looked after three generations of some local families.  

He is particularly interested in cardiovascular health and risk assessment, mens health and does immigration medical assessments.  He is available for corporate health assessments via his practice Medinex Health at Mercy Hospital specialist centre in Epsom.  

In his spare time he is a keen squash player and runner, and enjoys playing guitar for relaxation.

Peter Tomkins

Peter has been working as a General Practitioner in the Bay of Plenty since the mid 1980’s. Having previously been a solo GP for many years, he has been part of the team at CentralMed since September 2012 which he has found to be a new and challenging experience. He finds the “one stop shop” set-up at CentralMed with services such as x-ray and Pathlab all on site, very helpful in providing timely and effective patient care. He cannot lay claim to any particular sporting prowess, however he is keen on the arts in general along with having a go at growing the occasional avocado. Read more

Peter Clemo

Peter grew up in Auckland and trained at the Auckland University School of Medicine, qualifying in 1981. He worked in the hospitals in Auckland before moving to general practice and finishing his postgraduate training to obtain his Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) in 1999. During his training years, Peter always intended to become a GP and he is pleased to say that he immensely enjoys his work as a GP since starting in Mission Bay in 1984.

Peter is interested in all aspects of general practice and enjoys seeing people young and old. His special interests include men’s health, preventing cardiovascular disease, older people’s health  and using computers to improve medical care.

When Peter isn’t working, surfing, snowboarding, cycling, playing soccer, gardening and music (especially live gigs!). He escapes regularly to his holiday bach on Great Barrier Island. He has 2 grown up sons, a long-time partner Suzie, and 2 beautiful granddaughters, Georgia and Hazel.

Paula Hadabora

Paula joined The Doctors Greenmeadows team in early 2016.

Paula studied at the Lotus Holistic Centre and the Naturopathic College of New Zealand to gain her Diploma in Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine, as well as undertaking a Postgraduate certificate in Science and Technology in Human Nutrition at Massey University.  Paula is currently furthering her studies and is due to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Science & Technology, in Human Nutrition. 

Paula is passionate about focusing on nutrition, and a holistic approach to contribute to improving health outcomes and general well being, particularly women's health, autoimmune and digestive issues.  Paula is also one of the founding members of the Hawkes Bay Breast Cancer Trust, which successfully runs the Moving On Programme and has spent many years organising events to raise money to support families in Hawkes Bay. 

Outside of work Paula enjoys cooking, eating great food, especially with friends, gardening, walking, tennis, volleyball, playing the piano, reading and trying to keep up with her two young boys.
