Tui Chiropractic
Tarn (Tania Barge) represents Tui Chiropractic. She is currently on maternity leave but has locum chiropractors working for her.
Tui Chiropractic helps people of all ages and walks of life achieve greater health. We believe in finding the cause of the problem and correcting it, through gentle and specific spinal adjustments, lifestyle advice and simple stretches and exercises.

Tarn says "I grew up rurally in Whangarei, spending most of my teenage years riding horses which inevitably leads to falls & injuries. My first experience with a chiropractor came after one of these falls, and I couldn’t believe how much better I felt & could function! It was only a matter of time before I enrolled to study Chiropractic. I graduated from New Zealand College of Chiropractic in 2014 with the Academic Excellence award & the Business Award. Since graduating I’ve spent a couple of years working in Wellington, undergone post-graduate studies in pediatrics and Sacro-Occipital technique, and moved back to Whangarei to enjoy our little slice of paradise in Maungatapere. Being in the winterless North means we can spend more time with our family, enjoy beaching, boating & fishing, and have enough space for some animals and a horse!"

Opening hours:
Monday 2pm to 6 pm
Tuesday  8am to 12pm
Wednesday 2pm to 6pm
Thursday 10am to 1pm

The Cost of Health Care in New Zealand

Healthcare in New Zealand is a mixture of free and subsidised services, where patients pay a fee to cover some of the costs of providing healthcare services.

Free and subsidised care is only available to New Zealand residents, with exceptions in some cases for visitors from countries like the UK and Australia where New Zealand have reciprocal agreements. Ask our reception team if you think you may be entitled to a funded service for your visit or have any other questions on our fees.

Useful Information About Fees at The Doctors
