I emigrated from the UK in 2013. I have over 25 years experience of paediatric nursing both in hospital and in the community setting. I have also worked ad a Public Health nurse and was instrumental in commencing an opportunistic vaccination program within the local hospital. I enjoy the diversity of my role as a Practice Nurse and am particularly interested in paediatrics, emergency medicine and vaccination.

Dr Goodwin started at The Doctors Napier back in 2013. She completed her training in Otago, where she then moved on to working in the Emergency Department in Hawkes Bay for 10 years. Dr Goodwin then moved on to her GP training.
Her areas of interest are health & wellness, fertility, nutrition, lifestyle factors related to health and general GP work.
Dr Goodwin works part time at our Napier clinic due to her family commitments.
“Outside of work family takes up most of the my time, but in any spare moments, I enjoy swimming, cycling, scrabble, and walking.”

Alice grew up in Auckland where she attended The University of Auckland, graduating in 2014. She then worked at the various hospitals within Auckland before entering general practice. Alice is a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of GPs. She has an interest in palliative care and women's health. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Ali worked as a Plastic Surgery Specialist Medical Officer at Middlemore Hospital following few years of holding a Plastic Surgery Registrar post there. He currently operates on referrals of skin lesions from North Shore, Waitakere and Middlemore Hospitals as well as GP referrals to The Doctors, New Lynn and Manukau City A&M. Adnan worked in both General Practice and Plastic Surgery in Iraq before coming to New Zealand. He has completed the RNZCGP Seminar Programme, and is fluent in both Arabic and English. He is a father of four and as a keen artist, has participated in art exhibitions in NZ, and also had an exhibition at the Iraqi Museum for Modern art.
