The Doctors Whakatipu - Frankton
When you enrol at The Doctors Whakatipu, you can visit either of our medical centres in Frankton and Lower Shotover for your GP and healthcare appointments. Most of our team works across both practices. Our medical team provides high-quality general practice care, supporting local families in the wider Whakatipu Basin, stretching from Glenorchy to Gibbston Valley and as far south as Athol. We offer a range of medical services, including immigration medicals, mole removals, and travel vaccinations.

Doctors (GPs) deliver expert primary care and long-term support for you and your family. They work closely with their clinical team. Nurse Practitioners offer the same services as a doctor, with a few exceptions. They are registered nurses who undertaken advanced education and have more extensive clinical expertise.
