The Doctors New Lynn

Welcome to our practice - we are now in Covid Level 3

In Level 3 we continue to provide phone consults, and very limited face-to-face consults - for urgent care only. Please phone to book your phone consultation appointments.  Please not appointments made through our online portal (MMH) are for phone consultations only.  Our doctors will assess if the patient is required to visit the medical center to be seen face-to-face.

Patients are required to remain in their car when they arrive at the medical centre and phone the receptionist to say they have arrived.

Our clinical team offer COVID-19 vaccinations - please book an appointment time either through our receptionist team, Book My Vaccine site or using our online enquiry form - Request COVID Vaccine.

We continue to provide a drive through COVID-19 swabbing service. Please note we stop swabbing at 4pm on weekdays and at 12pm on the weekend.  Our opening hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm during the week and 9am - 3pm on the weekends.

We have had an extremely high demand for drive through swabbing. If you haven’t received your results via text message please email us reception@nl.thedoctors.co.nz and we can follow up for you.  Thank you again for choosing our COVID-19 testing drive through service during this difficult period for our community.

At The Doctors New Lynn we provide a comprehensive, convenient, and very affordable family general practice healthcare service, with pharmacy, radiology department, eye specialists and child care centre onsite as well. We offer a number of specialised programmes, including immunisations, travel vaccinations, ongoing screening for breast and cervical cancer, and wellness and health ageing clinics. Our opening hours are for GP booked appointments and Walk-in Care “no appointment necessary” services. Walk-in Care is for enrolled or casual patients who experience sudden illness, accidents or injuries that do not appear to be life threatening but can’t wait until the next day.

Minor surgery including circumcisions are available along with traditional Chinese acupuncture, and we provide a GP service for residential care facilities. We are fully computerised, allowing us to access laboratory results straight from the lab, and as part of National Hauora Coalition PHO, we can keep our patient fees at a very affordable level. Our staff speak ten different languages including Mandarin and Cantonese.  You are also welcome to visit our  satellite clinic - The Doctors Golf Road - 817 5442 - based at 168 Golf Road, Titirangi.
